Gulas with Fried Quail Egg

I made this appetiser of gulas (imitation baby eels) with a fried quail egg some time ago. This Christmas I made it again; it always surprises and it couldn't be easier.

Sliced sandwich bread rolled out with a rolling pin for the base, so it's thinner, and cut with a coffee cup to get the round shape. On top, a fried quail egg, and on top of that some gulas (from the north of Spain) quickly sautéed in a pan. 

Very tasty and eye-catching.
